Eco and Social Responsibility

Eco and Social Responsibility go hand in hand.

Earth and its delicate atmosphere is our little bubble that we all coexist in, without which we wouldn’t be here at all.  In this bubble, everything  affects  thing else--every breathing being, be it person, tree, frog, or earthworm. 

At Gypsy and Loïc we live this and it guides us in making every single business decision.  We reuse, upcycle and recycle everything we possibly can. 

Our fabrics are all sustainably grown and manufactured--recycled fleece and cotton, upcycled cottons, Modal (wood fiber)from sustainably grown beech trees, organic cotton, hemp blends and upcycled factory  mill ends. 

All of our clothes are sewn in family owned and run sewing facilities.  Everything is manufactured here in the USA to help preserve jobs and minimize shipping pollution.  Our sewing factories provide their workers with fair wages and working hours.   

 We give back to our community every year by donating at least 1% of our profits to local and/or environmental causes.  Last year we gave 5% to a local home that helps struggling families get back on their feet--The Esplanade House in Chico.
