About us

Our fresh and inovative designs appeal to the young at heart, fashion conscious and environmentally aware. You will fall in love with the great fit, quality materials and clever detailing--the hallmarks of our designs.  Then, you will be pleasantly surprised to find your clothing purchase is helping to support our economy, promote sustainable agriculture and improve conditions on planet earth for all of us.   

We got started in fashion while still in high school. Gypsy designed and presented an entire line in a fashion show complete with lights, runway and techno music for her senior class project. Loïc (pronounced lo-week) got into the show too as one of the models and started designing and Gypsy taught him how to sew.

After graduation we moved to San Francisco to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Soon, we were blazing own trail, and we enrolled in the Academy of Pattern Making and Design. We started sewing and selling our own clothing under the name “Tech Stylz” around the Bay Area and Northern California. We participated in our first big trade show MAGIC in Las Vegas as part of the San Francisco Design Collective. Soon after, we showed our first organic men’s wear line at San Francisco Fashion Week, and POOL in New York and Las Vegas.

We had our first child while living in San Francisco. This momentous event really opened our hearts and eyes to the possibility of helping provide a better future for ours and all children by becoming ecologically minded. We began using only those fabrics that promoted sustainable agriculture.  This direction has led us into the creative use of all sorts of fabrics including not only organically grown materials, but recycled and upcycled ones as well.

We are a small, family owned and run business, and firmly believe in having our sewing done in local sewing facilities that pay their workers fair wages.  It may make it a bit more expensive this way, but it makes good social sense to keep our jobs here.  Our two children are our constant inspiration for creating our children’s line.  Gypsy’s mom, Nancy, helps with our office work and customer support, freeing us to concentrate on designing.
